Pilates Equipment

Reformer

During a group reformer class, a certified Pilates instructor leads students through a safe, challenging series designed to strengthen and condition the entire body. The reformer offers all the benefits of Pilates,  including overall strength, flexibility,coordination, and balance. These things, in turn, lead to daily life improvements like better posture, graceful and efficient movement, and for many, relief from pain associated with physical imbalances such as back pain.  

Tower

Combining essential mat work with the benefits of the Pilates Tower equipment, this class is ideal for students of all levels. Through a system of springs and bars, the equipment supports the body to ensure proper stabilization and positioning, while providing added resistance for strengthening, toning and lengthening muscles.

Wunda Chair

Discover the strength and versatility of the Pilates Wunda Chair.  The chair is used to create an energizing, low-impact class designed to build core stability, improve posture, and increase full-body strength. Using one of the most compact yet challenging pieces of Pilates equipment, you’ll engage deep muscles through spring resistance and mindful movement.


Pilates Class Levels

All of our Pilates Equipment classes are semi-private (max of 6 participants)

Level 1 - Beginner

Dip your toes into Pilates with our beginner's reformer class. Our certified instructor will introduce you to the Reformer and the Pilates essentials of alignment, breath, and core engagement. You'll gently begin building strength, mobility, and body awareness.


Perfect for newcomers or anyone easing back into practice, this class gives you the confidence to explore the reformer while laying the foundation for smooth sailing in your Pilates journey.


Level 1/2 - Beginner/Intermediate

This mixed-level class is designed to support a range of Pilates experience while offering a balanced, full-body workout. You’ll move through a seamless flow of strength-building and mobility-enhancing exercises, guided by a certified instructor. It’s the natural next step after attending our Level 1 classes, you’ll recognize familiar movements while building the confidence to progress further along the Pilates repertoire of exercises.



Level 2/3 - Intermediate /Advanced

Welcome to the Captain's Club, this is our intermediate-to-advanced reformer class! Designed for students who already have a strong Pilates foundation, this class weaves together strength, endurance, flexibility, and precision for a dynamic full-body workout.


You’ll move through creative, flowing sequences that push past the basics. We incorporate advanced variations, increased resistance, and quicker transitions to keep both mind and body engaged. 

Jumpboard

Take your Pilates practice to new heights—literally. This dynamic class uses the Reformer Jumpboard to combine the precision of Pilates with the cardio benefits of low-impact, plyometric-style movement. You’ll strengthen your core, sculpt lean muscles, and boost your endurance while moving with power and control. Expect a heart-pumping workout that feels playful yet challenging. Perfect for those who want to build strength, increase stamina, and add variety to their Pilates routine.


Yoga Studio Classes

ANCHOR: Yin/Restorative/Yoga Nidra

Float into deep relaxation with this calming class that blends low-hanging aerial hammocks, yin and restorative yoga poses, and a guided Yoga Nidra meditation. Gentle support from the silks allows your body to fully ANCHOR, releasing tension while your mind drifts into stillness. Perfect for stress relief, nervous system reset, and deep rest.  All levels welcome.

COASTAL FLOW: Vinyasa Yoga

A signature class at Coastal Retreat.  Experience movement designed to release patterns of tension in your body, quiet your mind and soften your edges.  Let's move our bodies and our breath  to find new space in our thoughts and lives. All levels welcome.

TROPIC: Warm Power Yoga

Get ready to turn up the heat and feel the island vibes in TROPIC, a dynamic, sweat-dripping power yoga class that will transport you to your tropical paradise! This energizing practice combines strength, flexibility, and balance in a heated room, designed to make you feel powerful and refreshed—like you’ve just finished a beachside yoga session.  Designed for active yogis.

Roll & Restore

An hour-long  deeply relaxing class - 30 minutes of deep tissue self-massage and myofascial release techniques using yoga therapy balls and soft foam rollers, followed by a 30 minute restorative yoga practice.  Heaven!  Appropriate for all levels, no yoga experience required.  

VinYin

A signature class at Coastal Retreat.  Experience movement designed to release patterns of tension in your body, quiet your mind and soften your edges.  Let's move our bodies and our breath to find new space in our thoughts and lives.

Restorative Yoga Retreat

Drop anchor and drift into stillness in this 90-minute restorative session. Supported by blankets, bolsters, and gentle breathwork, each posture is designed to help release stored tension and bring the nervous system back to calm waters. Expect deep rest, quiet rejuvenation, and a feeling of being peacefully reset.

Barre

Barre blends the grace of ballet with the core-strengthening principles of Pilates. Set to uplifting music, you’ll move through small, precise, low-impact exercises that tone and sculpt the entire body. Expect a balance of strength, stability, and flexibility work! 

Gentle Chair Yoga

This gentle class is designed to make yoga accessible for everybody. Using the support of a chair, you’ll explore mindful movement, breath awareness, and simple stretches that release tension and improve mobility. Poses are adapted to meet individual needs, making this class perfect for beginners, those with limited mobility, or anyone looking for a safe and supportive way to practice. Expect to leave feeling relaxed, refreshed, and more connected to your body.

Pilates Mat

Settle onto your mat and build strength with intention. This class blends classic Pilates foundations with fluid, coastal-inspired movement to lengthen muscles, activate your core, and restore balance. Walk out feeling aligned, refreshed, and anchored in your body.

Aerial Classes

PLANK: Aerial Pilates

Ready to take your Pilates practice to new heights? PLANK is a fun, aerial twist on Pilates that combines core-strengthening exercises with the thrill of suspension! Using soft aerial silks, you'll engage your muscles in ways that challenge your balance, increase flexibility, and tone your entire body—while feeling like you're floating on air. 

FLOAT: Aerial Yoga

Lift your practice off the ground with this playful and empowering class using  aerial hammocks. Blend traditional yoga poses with gravity-defying support to build strength, flexibility, and body awareness—all while having fun. Inversions feel lighter, stretches go deeper, and your inner child gets to fly. No experience needed—just a sense of curiosity and adventure.

Speciality Classes

Belly Dance

Belly Dancing (All Levels)

Learn to move with confidence in this expressive, empowering class rooted in Middle Eastern dance traditions. Belly Dancing builds core strength, improves posture, and enhances coordination through isolations, shimmies, and fluid movements. Whether you're brand new or looking to refine your technique, this class offers a supportive space to explore your grace, musicality, and body awareness.

No experience required—just a desire to move, have fun, and feel fabulous!


Great Yoga Wall

Experience a new dimension of your yoga practice with the support of the Great Yoga Wall. This innovative prop system uses straps and resistance to help safely deepen stretches, improve alignment, and build strength. Whether you're working on flexibility, spinal decompression, or inversions, the Wall offers personalized support for all levels—making challenging poses more accessible and restorative poses even more effective.

Reiki Sound Bath

All are welcome for this one hour sound immersion experience. All yoga mats, blankets, and pillows are provided at Coastal Retreat. Sound baths are a wonderful way to relax and renew your mind, body and spirit.  Choice of laying on the mat in a comfortable position or in one of our aerial yoga hammocks.

Prenatal/Postnatal Classes

PEARL Prenatal Yoga

A peaceful, supportive class designed for expectant mothers to move with ease. Using soft aerial hammocks for added comfort, lift, and stability, we guide you through gentle stretches, mindful strength work, and soothing positions that take pressure off the joints. This practice helps reduce tension, improve circulation, and create space for your growing baby. Leave feeling grounded, buoyant, and beautifully supported.

STOWAWAY Prenatal Pilates

A peaceful, supportive class designed for expectant mothers to move with ease. Using soft aerial hammocks for added comfort, lift, and stability, we guide you through gentle stretches, mindful strength work, and soothing positions that take pressure off the joints. This practice helps reduce tension, improve circulation, and create space for your growing baby. Leave feeling grounded, buoyant, and beautifully supported.

AHOY BABY - Parent & Baby Class

Set sail on a journey of bonding, relaxation, and gentle movement with your little one! Our Ahoy Baby class is designed for new moms and their babies, offering a joyful space to rebuild strength, stretch, and relax after childbirth. With baby-safe poses and soothing techniques, you'll flow through a series of postnatal stretches while engaging with your baby in a fun, carefree environment. Perfect for babies from newborn to pre-crawling.
